Dr. Vincenzo Figliomeni

BDSc (UWA) FRACDS (GDP)

After over a decade in the industry, Vincenzo has experience in broad range of dental treatments. He has particular expertise in tooth removal and a passion for porcelain restorations. He also has further training in dentofacial aesthetics to safely administer muscle relaxants and dermal fillers and also the placement and restoration of dental implants. Vincenzo is committed to continued learning and stays up to date with the latest professional courses, materials and techniques to ensure his patients are well cared for.

Having decided to embark on further qualification with an aim to attaining the highest level of achievement with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), he completed his primary examinations for Fellowship in 2015 achieving commendations in 5 of the 6 subjects. 2019 saw the completion of the final examination and Vincenzo had the honour of being admitted to Fellowship, elected a member of the RACDS WA Regional Committee and also serving federal roles for the College. Aside from private practice, Vincenzo serves as an On-Call Registrar at the Perth Children’s/Princess Margaret Hospitals since 2011 and also works to deliver remote oral health care through the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA.

Born and raised in Albany, WA, Vincenzo Figliomeni enjoyed a hands on and practical country upbringing. Here he divided his time between music (piano accordion, french horn and trumpet to name just a few), deep-sea fishing and chopping wood on farms. He loves making improvements- homes, gardens and lifestyle. (Not just improving mouths!) Still an avid gardener today, Vincenzo attributes his green thumb (and his knack for growing broad beans) to his Italian heritage.

Vincenzo was encouraged to work hard and pursue his goals, and so, on completing high school he moved to Perth to live and study independently. In 2008 he qualified as a dentist, completing his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Western Australia (UWA). He is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and a Fellow of the RACDS.

Dr. Angela Pathmanathan

BDSc(UWA) BScDent (Hons)

Angela is a friendly, caring and gentle dentist, dedicated to providing quality dental care to patients from all walks of life. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Science in 2008 and subsequently an Honours degree both at UWA and has over a decade of experience. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).

Angela enjoys and is experienced in all aspects of dentistry, in particular aesthetic dentistry and the removal of wisdom teeth. She is also passionate about surgical implant techniques used for replacing missing teeth, Invisalign® (or ‘invisible braces’) and has further training in dentofacial aesthetics to safely administer muscle relaxants and dermal fillers.

Angela regularly participates in professional development activities to expand her knowledge and stay up to date with dental advances. She has volunteered for numerous organisations including Australian Red Cross meals on wheels service, and has provided dental aid in Calcutta, India. In her spare time, she loves yoga, tennis, cooking and travelling.

Tanya Pontillo

Tanya’s interest in dentistry began when she was growing up in a small country town in the ‘Great Southern’ region of WA. She moved to Perth and attained her Dental Assistant Certificate while working at one of Perth’s largest and oldest dental practices.

After taking some time off work to start a family, she returned to her passion of dentistry. Tanya enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She gets immense joy and job satisfaction from working with patients who walk in feeling anxious, and walk out smiling and relaxed due to the special treatment and care they have received.

Outside of dentistry Tanya enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, playing netball and watching football.

Saffron Jose

Saffron has been a qualified Dental Assistant for well over a decade having an intermission to raise her now adult children. She returned to dentistry as she missed caring for patients and contributing to improving patients' self-esteem & wellbeing through their smiles. She also enjoys the continual learning involved in dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys camping, gym and is a personal wellbeing enthusiast.
